After seeing this recently published scientific review ( plus the latest research on gluten, the short answer is, no, it’s not bad for everyone. How do you know if it’s bad for you?

IGG (non validated & test that’s NOT recommended, aka food tolerance/detective): Due to the lack of evidence to support its use, many organizations, including the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology and the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology advised against this test:
2. Better tests, but not yet validated: Wheat zoomer ( tests for 29 different peptides whereas most commercial gluten tests for one peptide. It also tests the health of the intestinal lining

– Gluten expert, Dr. Alessio Fasano, PhD states in an interview with Functional Medical Practitioner, Chris Kresser ( that none of the commercial tests are currently validated, so there’s not a great way to test for this yet because this sensitivity is not a single disease and has multiple possible causes.
